Music Non Stop was founded in 1995 following prior years of learning the tricks of the trade in clubs and at private parties. Since that time we have entertained at hundreds of events and locations in and around Chicago. With weddings being our main focus, we have done many smaller private gatherings to corporate events, for a few hundred people, to outdoor festivals for thousands. We are very familiar with diverse crowds that demand a variety of music especially European and Polish hits. However, this is not limited to that part of the world as we have been hired to DJ at many other international events. Our experience is also deeply rooted in nightclub work which gives us the advantage over most mobile DJ's if you are looking for one that can handle a more eclectic and niche style of party music. Lastly, our professional and organized approach to our service, developed over the years, helps you in planning and coordination of the entertainment with other aspects of your event.
Music Non Stop's founder and main DJ Andre Termanowski (aka Andre Solaris) brings over 20 years of dj'ing experience with his service. He honed his skills and developed his style of mixing not only by playing at over 1,000 of private events such as Weddings, Corporate Gatherings,and Festivals but also through an extensive log of Nightclub gigs which include playing alongside global superstar DJs. His extensive radio work on Chicago's FM airwaves, currently as Executive Producer and resident DJ of "Electric Playground" on Chicago's WKQX 101.1FM and also host of his own music showcase on Chicago's only Polish language FM station - Polski FM 92.7FM & 99.9FM. His weekly show called "Muzyczne Klimaty Termanowskiego" and "Mocne Brzmienie Na Antenie" brings an eclectic mix of music to the Polsih-speaking audience in Chicago and beyond. Previously, Andre held residencies on "Energy" 92.7&5 FM, B96 FM, Q101 FM, Sirius/XM Satellite Radio, SzczecinFM 94.4FM, and various other US and European radio stations round off the solid music knowledge and dancefloor control tactics he is known for. Andre approaches his craft with absolute passion and his intimate knowledge of party music is reflected in fully packed dancefloors. He is fluent in both English and Polish and can handle any crowd that demands it. Additionally, as a promoter, an event organizer, and with a degree in Electrical Enginneering, Andre is on top of his game when it comes to making a party look and sound sharp and modern.
A DJ's role at any social gathering, and specifically a wedding, is more than just to provide the music. It is instrumental in creating a flowing dynamic and specific vibe of the night. A properly adjusted and visually fitting equipment setup that will not diminish the look and style you've chosen for the party is just the beginning. Your DJ leads the night making sure that everything is timed and executed according to your specifications. He addresses your guests courteously and is entertaining without being overbearing. After all, it is your night. The music selection, mixing, and delivery is spot on. The magic of DJ'ing to a live audience is in creating a constant rush of excitement among the crowd. Being very accustomed to many event types allows us to adjust to your specific needs. As much as it may look "all the same" to an inexperienced eye, every wedding or party are characterized but their unique needs. We work with you to address all the specifics and offer flexibility where necessary. This can range from a customized way of introducing the wedding party to the way special ceremonies are conducted. If your venue requires a customized setup of sound equipment or you may have specific idea about lighting or visuals we can certainly accommodate. We are in coordination with your other vendors such as photographers, videographers, performers etc. to make sure they capture and deliver their services as required. Since we take the reins for the night's festivities as DJ & MC you will be pleased to know, that once planned, these details will now rest in our hands and you are free to enjoy your night.
Before making a decision about your DJ service, you will have an opportunity to meet with us and discuss your music needs, sound and lighting options, and the itinerary for the event. The consultation meeting is not mandatory but highly suggested for weddings. It is at no obligation to book us and there is never any pressure to do so. In fact, we encourage our potential clients to meet with other DJs to become more familiar with this service. You will be able to make your most important music choices and decide when and how the main highlights of the evening should be executed. The booking requires a deposit and you will be given event planning forms which will then need to be returned to us prior to the big date.
